To our valued guests

We regret to announce that the Farmington Hills Family Buggy Restaurant will be closing for business on Sunday, January 8, 2012. Due to the economic environment, we have no choice but to end our forty-four year run of providing families with a quality family dining experience. It is especially hard to announce this as we value the wonderful relationships we have developed with so many of our long time guests. It is even harder on the staff, who have been hardworking, loyal and caring from day one of their employment.

Some of our current employees have been with us since the late sixties at our first restaurant in Detroit, opened in 1967, and others are the children of the” kids” we originally hired at the Detroit “Buggy.” To these people, who have been our “family” for over four decades, we are eternally grateful. They have made a reputation for team work that has set the standard for the restaurant industry in Michigan. They also have set a record for years of service for our industry. The 27 longest term current employees with Family Buggy have a combined total of 545 years of service.

It has been our pleasure to have provided a quality, family dining experience to the wonderful people of Farmington Hills and surrounding communities for the past 44 years. We have greatly appreciated your loyalty, patronage, and getting to know you!
